Ibanez RG370 Review
Price Bought$300 (US) |
Sound QualityPickup set-up is H/S/H, 5 way selector, tone and volume control. This was my second guitar, also my second Ibanez, I thought the pickups would be better than the ones in my GRX-20, but it turns out they both have Powersounds. 8 out of 10 |
Build QualityAt first the Edge-II bridge (double locking) didn't stay in tune long, but after I broke it in it was sweet. The paint (Moonshadow) doesn't show any fingerprint marks, its very durable paint, no scratches yet. I can't say much for the strap buttons because when I ordered the guitar I ordered 2 sets of DiMarzio ClipLocks for this and my GRX-20 (which hold up really well by the way). The neck (24 fret) is very thin, its very easy to play on. 10 out of 10 |
Defects Upon PurchaseNone |
Additional CommentsI worked over the summer to get another guitar, and I must say it was money well spent. There is a newer version of this out (the RG370DX), but I haven't had any experience with it, but I'm sure that it is just as good, if not better than this guitar. |
