It has 2 Powersound humbuckers, the sound quality is VERY good for a guitar at this price, it is PERFECT for beginners.

The build quality is very good. Very good action, thin neck (22 frets), the tuners are OK, but for $40 you could have Grover locking tuners, problem solved.
