Fender 1957 American Strat Reissue Review

[ Back to Guitar Reviews ]

Price Bought

£750

Sound Quality

This guitar sounds beautiful when used right (listen to Jeff Buckley) and it's main use is for clean chimey sounds even although it is possible to use it for more rocky stuff (Lostprophets). The sounds you can get from this guitar are great, from sharp and brittle sounds to warm jazz voicings it can do them all (I mainly use this guitar to do stuff that my Gibson can't). In the end this thing is a fender and you all know what they sound like (great when used right).

Build Quality

Solid as a rock, I've had no serious problems with it at all. (the tone pot came off but you just need to screw it back on).

Defects Upon Purchase

Nope

Additional Comments

This guitar is a real beauty and is perfect for clean chimey chords using the same settings on my amp as I do for my Gibson and it still sounds great and is very easy to play.
