Fender 1957 Strat Reissue Review

[ Back to Guitar Reviews ]

Price Bought

No Idea (I borrow it)

Sound Quality

The best. Very naive, youthful Fender, none of the dirt or grit that came in by the mid to late 60's. Clear, rich when overdriven, versatile. Love it.

Build Quality

It's an American vintage reissue fender from 1994, still plays just like new. Had it set up for 11-49s, it's perfect.

Defects Upon Purchase

Nope

Additional Comments

A personal preference is the 2-tone sunburst as opposed to the later 3-tone which came in in 1958. It's just slightly less clichéd, and therefore less available on cheaper guitar lines.
