Price BoughtHead and cab was £1495 |
Sound QualityThis amp sounds amazing and is incredibly versatile even though it's sold as a metal amp. When I first got it I thought it didn't sound great but after a few days tweaking the knobs and pressing the buttons I found that tone I was looking for, the clean sparkles, the crunch has enough grit to fill a quarry, the low gain distortion is perfect for riffing and the hi-gain is fantastic for lead lines (there's almost too much gain if you turn it up past 12 o'clock. I love this amp and it's perfect for any rock style music despite its metal leanings 9 out of 10 |
Build QualitySolid as a rock! I've gigged this amp a fair few times and it has never let me down. The cab is made of much thicker wood than any other amp I've seen (especially those flimsy Marshall things) if the build quality of this amp had to be described in one word it would be "tank"! 9 out of 10 |
Defects Upon PurchaseNope - not even a single blemish! |
Additional CommentsThis thing is one of the best amps I've ever used or heard. It wipes the floor with Marshall and Mesa Boogie amps (yes even the road king, which I have played). The only amps that seem to sound as good for a similar price are Bogner (ok its more expensive) or Cornford amps. This amp is brilliant! |
