Summary: It's NOT a National Steel...
Comment: but it's as close as I'll ever come:)

After playing a Yamaha classical and a Fender tuned down to SRV, the sound of this is WEIRD and tinny at first, but then you get used to the bluegrass/oldtime BLUES sound of it after a while.

Now, if only Johnny Winter would do an instructional DVD for it.
