I bought these for my son and he says that the chin part of the pick has a kind of indention in it that really makes it great for really fast picking (he plays rock music). I'm not sure if this is the norm or not, be he kind of turns it sideways and picks with the edge of the pick instead of the tip. He swears by these picks.
