Customer Rating: Summary: OK WITH SOME WORK Comment: The music stand is wobbly, but can be bent to stand straight and relatively stable, especially if not extended to the max. So if you're not tall, it's workable. The biggest annoyance was the tilt of the base that holds the music versus the back part of the stand. The angle is so open (about 100 degrees) that music and books slide off the stand. The metal is actually quite strong, so if you use a plumber's plier set wide (carefully, inch by inch, with a shop towel to keep from scraping paint) you can get this angle down to 90 degrees, and the stand will hold even heavy scores without having them slide off. Given these adjustments, it ends up as a good looking stand with sufficient stability.
Customer Rating: Summary: Worst Amazon product ever purchased Comment: Given mostly favorable reviews in the past, I was excited to order this music stand. I was extremely disappointed by the stand I received from Kaito. Firstly, the plastic packaging in which it came appeared used and dirty. The next clue was the stand's carry bag - embroidered with SIGNTURE - missing the A; upon assembling the stand my suspicions of "knockoff" were confirmed. Once of the extensions seemed dirty, maybe even rusty. It was impossible to secure the extensions such that the extension would stay extended, the knobs were poorly made, hurt your fingers to tighten, impossible to tighten fully and failed to hold the extensions in place (even my husband was unable to do it). Therefore, this stand definitely could not hold music or a music book. I would have given this 0 stars if pssible.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not so good Comment: I got this stand for my little kid who plays guitar. The lower part of the stand is fine but the part that holds the music book is really cheep. The book will fall off and hit the ground during the song! It doesnt get much worse than that. This stand was such a distraction to my kid we had to get rid of it.
The only reason I gave it 1 star is because the lower 'teloscoping" part seems to do a good job and it doesnt tip over.
I would not recomend this stand even if it were free. It's really that bad!

Customer Rating: Summary: Very nice travel stand Comment: It's light, has nice rubber tips on the feet, has leg braces, folds up into a nice small package, has a carry bag, and easily adjusts to use either standing or sitting, with TWO height adjusters so you can make it really low, or extra high. It has the traditional "wind wires" on the tray, but more importantly has "wings" on each upper corner that can be used to support extra size pages, or pulled around to be retaining clips. I've owned two other folding music stands and neither was even close to this one in either functionality or quality of construction.
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent for the price! Comment: I was looking for a good easy to use beginner music stand for a 10-year old. The stand was very easy to assemble and take apart, even my 6-year old could do it. It's hard to beat the price too.
