Editorial Reviews:
Controlled, balanced overtones and even responses are hallmarks of the solid Maple back and sides 600 Series, making them a must-have for studio and live performances. The 614ce Grand Auditorium has a comfortable feel that's similar to a Grand Concert, but delivers the volume of a bigger Dreadnought. Includes Deluxe Hardshell Case.

Customer Rating: Summary: The best of the best Comment: I own two Taylor guitars and would buy another if I can ever convince my wife :-) The 614CE is simply one of the best acoustic guitars you can buy. The maple sides and back are stunningly beautiful, and the fret inlays are gorgeous. The feel is outstanding and characteristically Taylor, but the sound is what sets the 614 in particular apart. It is extremely full, bright, and full of presence. I would recommend this guitar to anyone, and yes, it is worth the price. Customer Rating: Summary: fantastic ,unbelievable, you will love this guitar! Comment: I purchased this guitar from a local retailer. I sat down and played EVERY high end acoustic guitar in the store, and quite a few lower models. This guitar is absolutely hands down the winner! The neck plays like a dream, set up perfectly at the factory. The action was set kind of low, but there was zero fret buzz! The sound that came out of this thing blew me away, a beautiful combination of high end and low end with a projection that made every note absolutely clear and concise. This guitar has enough natural volume that it could be mistaken for being plugged in when it is not! Whether you play finger style or pick style you will fall in love with this guitar. The only other guitar that compares in sound with this one is a high end Martin, but that is where it ends, the Martins are borderline unplayable compared to the Taylor. If you ever played a Martin you know what I am talking about, beautiful sound, play like crap. This Taylor rules the roost. Plug in to your amp with this and you get a super clear sounding angels from heaven sound.I have owned many acoustics over the last twenty five years, Gibson, Fender, Takamine, Seagull, Ovation. All those guitars always left me chasing a sound I could not find. I have had this Taylor for almost two years now, and I have nothing bad to say about this guitar. Go play one yourself, and compare. I guarantee you will agree.
