Comment: This is the third version of this product that I have purchased over the last 15 years. It is an excellent teaching tool for me as well as my flute students.
The talking beats, rhythmic subdivisions, meter choices, and dialing tempi make it simple to use.
I highly recommend this metronome to all teachers and musicians who can afford it.

Comment: Duple, Triple, dotted eight, compound duple triple mixes or just straight PING 2, 3, 4, etc., etc. Variable speed with the wheel, and all beat functions are easily adjusted via the sliders.
Phone inputs, outputs, and MIDI connections. What else could you want?
I purchased from a low price seller on Amazon, and am very pleased.
DB-90 is the way to go.

Comment: Bought this Dr. Beat DB-90 for my daughter for a birthday present. According to her it is absolutely amazing. She is a music performance major at a local college and has been using this now for about a month and is totally enthralled with it. While I have no idea how to use it I hear it being used quite a bit as there are many different sounds and beats. The most annoying but apparently useful benefit of this item is that it is loud and/or has the ability to be really loud! Crucial when you are using it versus the less expensive brands. Accuracy and volume are apparently the main concern when you buy something like this. This is perfect according to our music major.

Summary: The Boss Takes The Cake
Comment: Per my sons flute teacher, who happens to be first flute for our most excellent Jacksonville Symphony, I purchased the Boss DB-90. My son absolutely loves it. It is the newest model and can do everything but take out the trash. It has actually encouraged my son to play more as he uses it all the time now and his music sounds so much better. Excellent price, cheapest I could find on the net. Be sure to order the AC adapter to save money on battery purchases.
