Guitar is 38 inches in length and come with Steel Strings. The guitar has Linden Binding and wood construction with geared tuning. Each guitar comes with an extra set of steel strings, pick, tuner, gig bag and strap. The Steel String Acoustic Guitar is perhaps the most versatile and common guitar type. The Steel String Acoustic Guitar has a loud, bright ringing tone that clearly projects to the listener. This type of guitar is the backbone of most country and bluegrass bands. It's perfect for backing a singer and its stylistic palette encompasses everything from New Age and Country Blues, to hot Bluegrass flatpicking, jazz fusion and "unplugged" rock. Tuning Pegs are made of Brass and Steel for easy tuning and to keep the tuned string held in position.

Customer Rating: Summary: not the greatest Comment: I am a beginner and bought this to try out my hand at guitar. So I wanted something cheaper to begin with. What I don't like is that I can't get it in tune.
Customer Rating: Summary: Disappointed Comment: I payed eighty plus dollars for this instrument, and when finally I recieved the guitar. The box was in a terrible condition, parts were missing, in general I was extremely displeased with the product that was sold to me.
Customer Rating: Summary: warning Comment: When this arrived I was pleased to find that there was a giant crack on the guitar. It appeared as though someone had stomped on it or something. It was dirt cheap so Im not gonna bother trying to fight to get my money back, but do yourself a favor and avoid this at all costs. The guitar was of horrible quality as well.
Customer Rating: Summary: Don't waste your money Comment: This guitar is really low quality, even for the price. The guitar did not come with the carrying bag and accesories as stated either. This may have been just a screw up with my order, but there was another complaint like mine under this seller's feedback. The guitar smelled terrible, like chemicals. This guitar was a starter guitar for my son (which is why I didn't mind something lower quality), but because of the smell, I don't even want him to be near it.
Customer Rating: Summary: A beginners' bargain... Comment: I was interested in learning to play guitar and was looking for an inexpensive item to begin with. If you or your kids are the type of people who (like me) would want to play around with things before actually going in for an expensive equivalent, this is a guitar you can start with. Particularly for kids who are crazy about guitars, but who are playful enough to break things within days of buying new equipment (I have broken a lot of things when I was young), this is a good buy. The guitar is light and the sound, good (it needs tuning). It comes with a carry bag, extra strings, Linden binding, a plastic pick, and a good-sounding pitch pipe (for tuning the guitar). The pitch pipe tuner has to be blown into,(it looks like a mouth-organ or harmonica), to hear the sound you would get when you strum the guitar in 1E, 2B, 3G, 4D, 5A, and 6E, so that you can tune each string. At first, it would be hard for the beginner to tune the guitar to the sound of the pipe, but hey, we all learn things right? It also comes with a nylon strap to hold the guitar to the shoulders from around the body.
Good guitars are expensive (and they are worth it), but for a beginning, just to see if our enthusiasm will hold, this is a good guitar. I would recommend this for beginners and other enthusiasts who just want to see for themselves how things work (like our science students who want to learn the basics of sound, and would want to do things rather than just read about them from the books).
