When you think about the classic wah-wah sounds of the 60s, you think about American rockers like Jimi Hendrix and British bluesmen such as Eric Clapton. You probably dont think about Italy. But those Foxey and Sunshine-y guitar tones could not have existed without the Italian company Fasel. Fasel made the inductors that were in the first wah pedalsincluding the original Crybabyand those inductors were the key to the pedals tone, sweep, and voice. For years the Fasel inductors were unavailable, and so was that sound. But now you can get that magic tone again, exclusively from Dunlop.

Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent Sound Comment: This wah pedal is amazing. The only reason I rate it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the description was incorrect. You cannot adjust the sound of the wah the way it says. The only tone adjustment, of course, is the wah effect itself, you can't "shape" the sound of the wah like the description says. However, it is still a good, solid pedal, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a wah pedal.
Customer Rating: Summary: The "Best" Wah Pedal - Ever! Comment: I have used and reviewed a few pedals - ranging from the Buddah, to Dunlop's Crybaby line, not to mention the many others..
This Wah pedal is the absolute best out there, anywhere. The Italian man "Fasel Inductor" is the heart of the sound that comes from this rock-solid tank-like beast of a Wah pedal.
I play music ranging from Jimi Hendrix, Metallica, Sabbath, BB King, and Zakk Wylde, etc.. And I now refuse to play music from any of those artists / bands without my Crybaby Classic. In fact, it'll be in my pedal arsenal right next to my PODxt, until the day I die.
The overall quality of this pedal is unmeasurable, and I simply can't say enough good things about it.
Buy this pedal - you won't be disappointed.
