Summary: Sounds great - there is real value here
Comment: I've been fingerpicking 20 years, 80% nylon 20% steel.
I picked this up in a music store a six months ago and 2 hours later walked out with it - still don't regret it.
It's extremely well made, projects well, easy to play and best of all it sounds great.
Who is this for?
1. Don't get a beginner an electric or steel folk. It's hard on the fingers, hard to chord and will end up in the corner. This will most easily allow a beginner to learn chords and maybe pickup the basics of fingerpicking.
2. A great "travel guitar". It's solid, sounds great and comes with a superior grey nylon bag, definitely not junk.
3. All of you out there who have been playing for years - give this a try. You'll be surprised how nice it sounds. I have a few nice guitars but end up playing this quite a bit.
I would never advise anyone to buy a guitar without playing it first but this comes close - if you are a parent looking for that first guitar and absolutely don't know where to start then get this.
