Summary: The best deal out there
Comment: I've been playing guitar for over 20 years. The guitar that I currently own is a $4000 Breedlove custom guitar. Bottomline, I know guitars. For $100, this Rogue Mahogany guitar rivials $3000 Taylors and Martins. Ok ok ... before you jump down my throat, let me explain: it RIVALS but doesn't necessarily top those high end guitars. But for the price, you get a full mahogany body guitar, and a fishman pickup. And the sound ... WOW. For $100, you can't find a better guitar. You get another guitar in the same price range, you won't find anything that would compare to this guitar. So as the best value, buck for buck, this guitar, hands down, is the best deal out there EVER! If you're just starting to play guitar, this would be the ideal choice. It's inexpensive and it sounds great. As a music teacher, the best way to encourage students to play is when they themselves sound good. Of course, parents don't want to spend that much on an instrument. So there you have it. The Rogue Mahogany.

Summary: Bad choice!
Comment: Ordered first guitar from Musician's Friend and it came with a crack in the body! Called them and they payed for the return shipping. I had to place another order for the replacement guitar because I needed it by the weekend for a birthday present to my nephew. Well I got the second guitar only to find a nail sticking out of the back of the body of the guitar!!! When I played it the strings would hit the other frets driving me crazy. Sent them the second guitar back as you may have guessed. Would never order this or any other item from this company.

Comment: This is my second guitar so I am hardly an expert but it is beautiful to look at, has a great sound, and is well constructed.
String tightening system works great--easy to tune and stays tuned.
This guitar is everything my first guitar wasn't!
