SHR-1 Hot Rails are one of the highest output pickups Seymour Duncan makes. It's a humbucker that fits into a normal single coil slot, so you get the noise canceling effect without cutting a large hole in your guitar. The 2 thin blades with powerful coil windings give you the incredible sustain and a fat, full sound that's needed for playing heavier rock music. This pickup responds to the subtlest finger movements.

Summary: Great Pick-Up
Comment: I dropped this baby into one of my Fender Mustangs (no KC comparisons please). Man does it sound great. I almost went with the Cool Rails instead because I usually like more of a single coil type sound, but I can't tell you how much this little pick-up changed my mind.
I really only wanted to use it to have a different sound to play with, but now I may buy another for my other guitar!!!
