Comment: These 2 video's Tower of Grove Part 1&2 is a must for all u funk r&b,fusion,classic rock and jazz drummers, as a matter of fact it good for all types of playing. The learning experiance of this video is on going, even though it was years ago for some of this music it still carries into the 21 century. I have been a drummer for the last 30 years and i pop this tape in all the time, and learn something new all the time, how jazz rock funk patterns all seem to fall into one great big drum beat. He really covers a wide field of drumming that each drummer can incorporate in to there own style.David was really ahead of his time and the drum riff's that he played back then were ungodly and i dont understand how he did not make the drummers hall of fame.You talk about the old Motown Sound well he was one of the inovaters of those funky soulful rhythm and blues beats

Summary: David Garibaldi is deffinately in the groove.
Comment: This is a masterpiece in educational music videos.The studio and pre recorded pieces played on both videos are an inspiration in themselves.His explainations on his patterns and techniques are not read out of a textbook which makes these videos more inspiring.David Garibali's love for his instrument and his musical talent is truely amazing.This is a must see for any drummer who is serious about themselves and want to get in the groove.
