Vol. 1 helps kids get started playing guitar immediately. Students practice rhythm, chording and note reading in a way that progressively builds on previous knowledge. No prior music training is necessary with this 3 vol. series. By the end of vol. 1 students have mastered notes on the first 3 strings and have learned several stumming patterns as well as the basic chords in the key of G.
