This book was obligatory for all four semesters of aural comprehension and very helpful in practicing lessons learned in class. If you were to use this as a self-taught book, this is not the book to buy. This book is a bound book of aural comprehension worksheet drills for homework that should be supplemented with a real text and teacher. For a great text to learn ear training, sight singing, and complex rhythms, buy Rhythm and Pitch. Customer Rating: Summary: Its a fast-cash fraud Comment: First of all, there is no "book". What you receive is an almost empty workbook (of the kind you could buy in any papershop), and a CD with a poorly designed software. If you want some quality, buy a common, GOOD music notebook and a GOOD ear training software, like EarMaster School. This book is a waste of money. I bought it, do not make the same mistake.
