Customer Rating: Summary: IPOD Touch Comment: The IPOD Touch is a great device BUT it does NOT come with a set of instructions on how to use it! This book is sufficiently easy to use that I was able to start using the IPOD almost immediately.
Customer Rating: Summary: Very Helpful Comment: This is another fine book from Chris Breen. For those of us who subscribe to Macworld his is a well known name. And his knowledge of all things Apple is without question.
This book is especially well suited for new users, or intermediate users. But, I'm only saying that to warn the people who are going to pitch a fit if they know more then fifty percent of the information in the book.
I've been using Mac's since 96, but was a little slow to adopt the iPod. Now I don't know how I did without one, and I want to know as much about all the features I can.
Listening to Chris on some of the podcasts he's done, and having read his many articles in Macworld, including Mac 911. I knew I could count on him, and he didn't let me down.
It's not exactly pocket size though, unless your wearing cargo pants.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good intro book Comment: This book is handy for people (like me) who often tend to forget exactly how to do this or that thing with an iPod, or who don't realize all of the various things that iPods and iTunes can do. It's well-organized so it's easy to find what you're looking for. I am going to lend it to my mom so she can find out how to download podcasts and things like that. This makes a nice stocking stuffer or Secret Santa present for someone who has an iPod but isn't necessarily super tech-savvy.
